Yesterday we went for Kaitlyn's 12 month appt and for some more vaccinations. She's finally putting two and two together and starting to get a little nervous when we get to the Dr's office. She is now 22 lbs and 30 inches tall which is in the 75%. We got the OK to turn her car seat around and to switch from formula to whole milk. We've given her a few bottles of whole milk, but haven't switched completely yet, mainly because i keep forgetting to buy milk!!! Starting tomorrow we're going all milk baby! And she's been doing so much better with eating also. She's still not 100%fond of the spoon, but doing so much better than she was. When she's in the mood she'll try it. the Dr didn't seem concerned. He told me she's just a picky eater, to go with what she wants, so she doesn't get turned off. She's eating more real food too, and on thanksgiving even had some Turkey and stuffing. (I'm talking minuscule amounts, but I'm encouraged!)
She pretends to answer the phone now, it's really cute because she hasn't quite found the ear, she just knows it goes up on her shoulder....she does this with the house phone, cell phones, and her play phones.....OK, and her shoes and my hairbrush....
She got so much great stuff for her birthday she makes herself crazy trying to play with it all. She'll start one thing and then realizes there is something cool behind it or on the other side of the room she switches to that.
