About two weeks ago Kaitlyn started taking the sippy cup during the day so we sort of quickly phased out the bottle and stuck to just giving it to her at night to fall asleep. Well the past few night i noticed she started drinking the bottle like she does her sippy cup. She would drink for a few seconds, then take the bottle out of her mouth to breathe and let the bottle get more air in it and then start drinking again. So last night I gave her a sippy cup to go to bed with and she did fine. So she hasn't a bottle at all in 2 days and doesn't seem to miss it. It was honestly a lot easier than i expected it to be. I really thought she would fight it more. I have to give this little girl more credit!

Now the walking on the other hand.....she still hasn't. She had us all fooled on Christmas when she did take a few steps, but it's just been mor of the same since then. She'll take a step or two of she is going to something close, if not.....she sits down and crawls there. She does sit down and stand up in the middle of the room on her own though and she's started climbing on toys and chairs to get to higher points in the room....she's just afraid to walk! I guess she will do it when she wants, right? There is only so much help i can give.
