The Big Day

Ok, so we've finally arrived at the Big Day! After 5 days of celebrating, Today my baby is officially 3 years old. We had to make today just as special as the past few, so we headed out nice and early for pictures. We got her 3 year old pictures taken at JC penney this morning and can't wait to get the real ones! We have to wait til next Wednesday though...

Next we headed out of the mall to a nail salon! I've never painted Kaitlyn's finger nails, I kept telling her when she got older, it would be ok, but I was afraid she would eat it off or something crazy...I know. But anyway, it made today really special, she got a real manicure, and of course....orange nail polish (her favorite color). She sat so well. She told the lady that the towel was too hot and the polish remover was too cold, but sat through it all anyway. They even gave her a little flower on one of her fingers. She had a great time and even sat at the drier til they were dry....somehow we made it out of there with no smudges!

Then it was on to Friendly's for lunch...what's better than that? We had a great lunch and then came home only to find that somehow Grandma beat us back here (she was with us...) to fill the living room with Orange and white balloons for Kaitlyn!Katie was tired by this point, so we made some funny faces too
