We made our first Jack-O-Lantern the other night! We've decorated pumpkins with paint and markers in the past, but this year we thought we were ready for some carving! Katie and drew the face on the pumpkin...Katie decided he should have Moon shaped eyes, a round nose and a surprised mouth... so he does! Then Spencer carved out what we had drawn. Katie refused to touch the guts of the pumpkin, so we ended up with a spoon so get most of it out. We seperated the seeds after to roast some and save some for planting next year. She was so proud when we were done!
